This 2019 rebuild of all entrances is one of many infrastructure projects that keep our buildings and grounds safe and attractive.
Parkside Gardens's Board of Trustees takes great care to keep our property in good repair, in order to create a striking curb appeal and to enhance our property values. Lawns and trees are groomed from early Spring to late Fall by a professional landscaping company. Planting areas show a variety of new and mature trees. Mulching and seeding are done regularly, and our floral plantings are refreshed each Spring and Fall by our resident superintendent.
Parkside also invests extensively in our infrastructure; recent improvements include:
> Re-mulched the entire property, most recently July 2025;
> Replaced outdated electrical panels throughout the property, 2024;
> Replaced all roofs, gutters, and downspouts, 2024;
> Replaced mature trees throughout the property with newer ones, 2024;
> Replaced all fencing on three borders with a new fence, 2024;
> Installed new exterior door locks throughout the property, 2024;
> Rebuilt exterior thresholds: siding, paint, more;
> Rebuilt sidewalks, stairways, stoops, and railings;
> Built a new retaining wall;
> Installed new drain grates and decorative stones to improve stormwater runoff; and
> Installed enhanced LED lighting throughout the property.
Our objective behind all of these efforts is to provide an attractive, “park-like” setting that residents are delighted to call home!
