Parkside's 2026 infrastructure improvements continue the Board's focus on keeping our structures sound and our facilities attractive.  These projects build on the major improvements of 2024 and 2022; see those respective photo albums for more.

 

 
Interior hallway painting
 
This project involves repainting all walls, ceilings, and common doors in the interior entranceways.  These areas have not been comprehensively repainted in many years.  This project began on schedule on August 31, a good time to start such work owing to generally stable temperatures and manageable humidity levels.  We will complete the buildings in 1-to-6 order.

 

Our painting contractor is CertaPro Painters of Clifton (https://certapro.com/clifton/); CertaPro (https://certapro.com/) is the largest residential and commercial painting company in North America.

 

 

This project focuses on exterior entrance doors, frames, trim, and saddles, and involves sanding, repair, and repainting.  This project will begin on September 8 and, again, we will address the buildings in 1-to-6 order.

 

 

The laundry room will receive a complete refresh, including walls, ceiling, floor, doors, and trim.  The floor will be repainted grey with decorative chips to improve appearance and minimize visible scuffing.

 

 

In the past, our lawns have tended to turn brown and dry in the Summer months due to high heat and lack of rain.  Board took action in 2026 to address this by installing a property-wide above-ground irrigation system.  This system features sprinklers mounted on tripod pylons and an early-morning watering schedule.  Results this year have been excellent, as our lawns have remained lush and green throughout the Summer.
